The normal number should be operative in 3-4 weeks. I appreciate your patience. The Massachusetts list is now ready. week. Please click here to browse and search for covers of interest. Over 600 covers debut this week. There is a group of 200 Switzerland. Click here to see these covers. Over 200 British Commonwealth covers are new. Click on the country name that follows: Australia Military, Cook Islands, Sierra Leona, St. Helena, Swaziland and Tristan Da Cunha. Finally there are over 200 various U.S. Military, mainly World War II. Click here for these. Last week's new covers are from Colombia, French Offices Abroad, Haiti, Panama and Thailand. Just click on the country above to see the additions. Important Note - The high cost of energy is now significantly slowing U.S. mail delivery. Airlines are refusing to carry as much mail as in the past. This has caused delays on transcontinental domestic mail and mail to Europe. Mail traveling under 1000 miles goes by truck and is not affected, nor is mail to the westernized parts of Asia. Mail that once took 2-3 business days is now taking 5-7 business days. Your patience is solicited. As has been mentioned several times before, my production of U.S. state postal history lists is much, much slower now than in the past. As the majority of my business is now online, the standards of the internet must now apply. Whereas ten years ago a $500 town cancel could be sold with a one line description, a scan is now necessary to sell the least interesting cover. Making these scans takes time. It is actually less the scans than making sure the scans are named correctly to show on the site. Massachusetts took 3 months. New York and Pennsylvania will take 4-6 month each. Your patience is solicited. Now Open! A number of the features of this site make it impossible to offer less expensive covers. The scans, descriptions, free shipping and unlimited return privilege mean that most of the covers here are $10 and up. That doesn't mean there aren't lots of interesting covers and postal history that sell for less. I have a new website called Discount Covers. Enjoy browsing though thousands of covers priced at $1.25, $2.50 or $3.75. You'll have a good time. Please visit http://discountcoverstore.com. Don't forget to sign up for the email notifications so you'll know when covers are added. About 1700 covers will be new at about Noon July 20. The new additions are almost all U.S. covers. Most of the covers are from the estate of a long time Oregon dealer. There will be an excellent showing of Oregon covers with many D.P.O.'s, a good showing of other Pacific Northwest cancels, a number of Alaska covers and many 20th Century commemoratives on cover. Next upload will be on August 11. |

Help Wanted!
I have over 150,000 covers to add to this site. I need help doing the descriptions. I need people with a very basic knowledge of computers, a basic knowledge of a stamp catalog, and reasonably good perceptive abilities. Expert knowledge is not required, but you must be a stamp collector. The pay is good. You can expect to make $10 to $15 per hour. You will work at home, as many hours as you like. Please e-mail me to discuss how to start.
Do you live in Las Vegas? I need at least three people to scan covers. This work requires no knowledge of stamps or stamp collecting. It does require a flat bed scanner, quality image editing software, knowledge of the basic details of the image editing software, reliable transportation to pick up and deliver covers, and the ability to satisfy deadlines. The work is more easily done with a $50 scanner and $500 image editing program than with a $500 scanner and a $50 image editing program. The work pays per scan, you can expect to make in the $10.00 per hour range. Call 791-6828 after Noon.
