There is marked preference for 19th Century material. While once a fairly poplar state, there are now fewer collectors chasing an increasing supply of covers. 2001 Update: Among the 50 states, the District of Columbia, R.P.O.'s and Streetcars, Indiana rates as the 15th state in terms of percentage of cover sold at 60.59%. It ranks 21st in terms of the value of covers sold as percentage of all town cancels sold at 1.52%. The overall rank is 11th. This is a ten year running average. The most recent trends are declining. |
