The basics of an A.P.O. cover are simply. Two key points here are the use of [brackets] when there is no A.P.O. number in the cancel, where the number is inferred from the return address. The location follows the A.P.O. number. You will always be given the location.

Follow the wording in the cancel. Please note how to handle Q.S.L. Cards. These are sent by ham radio operators to acknowledge reception of distant stations. The view side is rarely scanned or described beyond the station name.
